In this episode we cover the importance of acceptance and letting go of things outside of our control. The truth is that we can’t change other people and we can’t change some of the circumstances that life places us in. Learn to accept that and focus on making an impact on what you CAN change. Focus on your CANS, and tackle what is before you in the present moment. Be aware of yourself and acknowledge why you don’t like what you don’t like. Does it really have to change? Or could you change your perspective and look at it through a different light? Oftentimes we believe we need to change external circumstances in order to be happy, when in reality we just need to learn to accept, let go, and trust life.
We’ve all experienced times when we allow one bad day to spill itself in to the next day, and even the one after that. Suddenly we are stuck in a pattern of bad days, and we don’t seem to be able to break the cycle. This is a consequence of not allowing the bad day to move through us, instead we choose to move with it, and we allow it to linger and extend it’s presence to other areas of our life. When your work life is not going well, try to focus on the good things going on in your personal life. If you are unable to do something, do not allow that limitation to stop you from trying to do other things. Too often we make the mistake of focusing on what is not going well, and life helps us validate that things are not going well by highlighting all that is not going well. Instead focus on allowing the bad experience to pass right through you, and go on with your day as you would have if it had not happened.
First we make our habits, and then our habits make us. Everything you do and don’t do on a daily basis is a habit! Your body works in autopilot so much of the time that you could almost take your brain out, and your body would still do the daily repetitive tasks that it is used to. Your habits stack, and over time, they become a part of your personality, so try to pick the kind of habits that lead you to living a life you want to live.

Nothing Else Will Motivate You Like Love
In This episode I share with you why I believe that love should be at the root of any of your goals and dreams.
It doesn’t matter how rich, successful, famous, and wealthy you become, none of it is worth anything if you do not have love in your life. Whatever your goals and dreams are, if you back them up by love you are sure to get much further.
After all why do we do anything in our life if it is not for love? Anything can be traced back to this single universal human desire. Don’t forget the people along the way, love yourself, love other people, it will give your life meaning and purpose along the way.
No matter how shaky the road gets, having love as your foundation can make your journey more enjoyable and satisfying.
